By creating an account, accessing or using Real Drive, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms that apply to the services you use.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Real Drive.

Real Drive operates a technology platform that helps learners find and connect with independent driving instructors and provides related digital and administrative services.

- Payments and refunds;
- Communication tools;
- Reviews and ratings;
- Learning-progress features;
- Notifications;
- Customer support;
- Other related services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Real Drive provides the technology platform and does not itself provide driving instruction.
2. Additional Terms
Different terms may apply depending on how you use Real Drive.
Learners may be subject to the Real Drive Learner Terms.
Driving instructors may be subject to the Real Drive Instructor Terms and, where applicable, additional instructor-specific agreements or terms.
Specific products, promotions, lesson packs, intensive courses or other services may also have additional terms displayed before purchase or use.
Where additional terms apply, they form part of your agreement relating to that service.
If there is a conflict between these general Terms and specific terms relating to a particular service, the specific terms will apply to that service to the extent of the conflict.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of using the Real Drive services relevant to you.
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when requested.
Additional eligibility requirements may apply to particular services or account types.
Where a user is under 18, additional requirements may apply in accordance with applicable law and the relevant Real Drive terms.
4. Your Account
Certain Real Drive services require an account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information;
- Keeping your information up to date;
- Keeping your login credentials secure;
- Not sharing access to your account without authorisation;
- Taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.
You must notify Real Drive promptly if you believe your account has been compromised or used without your permission.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account to the extent permitted by law.
Real Drive may require identity, contact or other verification where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or provide particular services.
5. Using the Platform
You must use Real Drive lawfully, responsibly and for its intended purposes.
You must not:
- Provide false, fraudulent or deliberately misleading information;

- Access or attempt to access another user's account without permission;
- Use Real Drive for fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the platform;
- Introduce malware, malicious code or other harmful technology;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Real Drive systems;
- Harass, threaten, abuse or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
- Use information obtained through Real Drive for an unauthorised purpose;
- Manipulate reviews, ratings, bookings or platform functionality;
- Circumvent platform payment arrangements or charges where those arrangements legitimately apply;
- Scrape, copy or systematically extract platform data without permission;
- Use Real Drive in a manner that infringes the rights of another person.
Real Drive may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable action where necessary.
6. The Real Drive Marketplace
Real Drive provides technology that helps learners discover and connect with driving instructors.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, driving instructors using Real Drive operate independently and are not employees of Real Drive.
Information displayed on Real Drive may include information supplied by users or instructors.
We take reasonable steps to operate and administer the platform, but we cannot guarantee that every instructor will always be available or suitable for every learner.
Any verification status displayed by Real Drive means that the relevant verification process has been completed according to the requirements applicable at the time. It does not constitute a guarantee of future conduct, performance or suitability.
Specific responsibilities of learners and instructors are addressed in the applicable Learner Terms and Instructor Terms.
7. Bookings and Services
Real Drive may provide functionality for users to request, arrange, confirm, manage, reschedule or cancel services.
A booking is not necessarily confirmed merely because a request has been submitted.
The status shown through Real Drive and any confirmation provided through the platform determine whether a booking has been confirmed.
Additional rules may apply depending on:
- The service being purchased;
- The instructor;
- The booking type;
- Lesson duration;
- Lesson packs;
- Intensive courses;
- Promotions or offers.
Applicable prices, booking conditions and other important information will normally be displayed before a booking or purchase is completed.
8. Prices and Payments
Prices displayed through Real Drive are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.
Prices may vary depending on the instructor, service, lesson duration, package, course or other applicable factors.
Where payment is made through Real Drive:
- The applicable amount will be displayed before payment;
- Payment may be authorised or charged using the selected payment method;
- A third-party payment provider may process the transaction;
- Payment status and transaction information may be recorded by Real Drive;
- Refunds, where applicable, may be returned through the original payment method or another appropriate method.
Real Drive may refuse, delay or cancel a transaction where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, security concerns, technical problems or legal requirements.
Additional payment provisions may apply under the relevant Learner Terms, Instructor Terms or service-specific terms.
9. Cancellations, Refunds and Credits
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund rights may depend on the service, booking type and terms that applied when the booking or purchase was made.
Any applicable cancellation period, fee or refund condition should be made available before or in connection with the relevant transaction.
Where a refund is due, processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Credits, wallet balances or other platform balances, where offered, may be subject to additional terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
10. Communications and Notifications
Real Drive may provide communications between users and may send communications concerning:
- Accounts;
- Bookings;
- Payments;
- Security;
- Customer support;
- Platform changes;
- Other services.
You must use communication features responsibly and lawfully.
You must not use Real Drive communications to send spam, fraudulent material, threats, harassment, unlawful content or other inappropriate communications.
Service communications that are necessary to operate your account or provide a service may still be sent even if you have opted out of marketing communications.
11. Reviews and User Content
Real Drive may allow users to submit reviews, ratings, profile information, photographs, messages or other content.
You are responsible for content you submit.
Content must not:
- Be deliberately false or misleading;
- Infringe another person's rights;
- Contain unlawful material;
- Contain threats, harassment or abusive material;
- Include unnecessary personal or sensitive information about another person;
- Be submitted for the purpose of manipulating ratings or misleading users.
You retain ownership of content you own.
By submitting content intended to be displayed or used through Real Drive, you grant Real Drive a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, display and otherwise use that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the platform.
Real Drive may moderate, restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, protect users or maintain the integrity of the platform.
12. Privacy and Personal Information
Real Drive processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Our Privacy Policy explains:

- The lawful bases we rely on;
- How information may be shared;
- How long information may be retained;
- Your data protection rights.
Users must handle personal information obtained through Real Drive lawfully and only for appropriate purposes.
13. Third-Party Services
Real Drive may rely on or integrate with services provided by third parties, including payment, authentication, hosting, communication and other technology providers.
Those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
Real Drive is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Links to third-party websites or services do not necessarily mean that Real Drive endorses them.
14. Intellectual Property
The Real Drive platform and its associated intellectual property, including its software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics and platform functionality, are owned by or licensed to Real Drive or its licensors.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Real Drive intellectual property to you.
You may use Real Drive only for its intended purposes.
Unless permitted by law or expressly authorised by Real Drive, you must not:
- Copy or reproduce substantial parts of the platform;
- Modify or distribute Real Drive software or content;
- Reverse engineer platform software except where the law expressly permits it;
- Use Real Drive branding without permission;
- Commercially exploit Real Drive intellectual property;
- Remove copyright, trade mark or proprietary notices.
15. Platform Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable platform but cannot guarantee that Real Drive will always be available without interruption or error.
Real Drive may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- Maintenance;
- Updates;
- Technical problems;
- Security incidents;
- Third-party service failures;
- Events outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, improve, replace or discontinue platform features where reasonably necessary.
Where a material change significantly affects an existing paid service, we will take reasonable steps to communicate the change where appropriate.
16. Suspension and Termination
Real Drive may restrict, suspend or terminate access where there is a reasonable basis to do so.
This may include:
- Serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
- Fraud or suspected fraud;
- Unlawful activity;
- Security threats;
- Abuse, threats or harassment;
- Misuse of the platform;
- Serious safety concerns;
- Unauthorised access;
- Circumvention of legitimate platform charges;
- Conduct that creates a material risk to Real Drive or its users.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to respond.
Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law, preserve security or address serious misconduct.
Termination does not affect rights, liabilities or obligations that arose before termination.
17. Closing Your Account
You may stop using Real Drive and request closure of your account.
Account closure does not automatically cancel outstanding bookings, payments, refunds, disputes or other obligations.
Certain information may be retained after account closure where required for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legitimate purposes, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
18. Our Responsibility
Real Drive is responsible for providing its platform services with the level of care required by applicable law.
Real Drive does not provide driving instruction unless expressly stated otherwise.
Because instructors operate independently, Real Drive is not responsible for an instructor's acts or omissions to the extent that responsibility does not arise under applicable law.
We are not responsible for losses caused by:
- Information supplied incorrectly by a user;
- A user's breach of these Terms;
- Events outside our reasonable control;
- Third-party services outside our reasonable control,
except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
19. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Real Drive will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by law.
Such events may include:
- Severe weather;
- Natural disasters;
- Road or transport disruption;
- Government action;
- Major internet or telecommunications failures;
- Significant third-party infrastructure failures;
- Industrial action;
- Other comparable circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where such an event affects a paid service, any rights available under applicable law or the relevant service-specific terms will continue to apply.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including because of changes to:
- Real Drive services;
- Platform functionality;
- Applicable law or regulation;
- Security requirements;
- Business operations.
Where a change materially affects existing users' rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
We may require users to accept materially updated Terms before continuing to use certain Real Drive services.
The current version and last-updated date are displayed with these Terms.
21. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
The affected provision will apply only to the extent that it is lawful and enforceable.
22. No Waiver
If Real Drive does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that Real Drive has waived its right to enforce that provision later.
23. Transfer of Rights
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our consent where such consent is reasonably required.
Real Drive may transfer its rights or obligations where reasonably necessary as part of a restructuring, sale, transfer of business or similar transaction, provided that doing so does not reduce any rights you have that cannot legally be restricted.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory legal protections that apply to you.
Any dispute relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction applicable under UK law and any mandatory consumer rights.
